Where is Congress when we the people need it? Apparently you forgot that you have sole responsibility over tariffs, not the president. Republicans have become cowards afraid to say "NO" to anything Trump wants to do, no matter how outrageous. You're also afraid to appear at live town hall meetings to hear what your constituents feel about your malfeasance. Just like Trump you could care less about the results of these onerous tariffs. The US has broken relations with many nations that used to be our allies - not any more! The stock market is in a free fall with no bottom in sight. What Trump calls "a little pain" will have terrible consequences for many people who have their life savings in a 401k or IRA. Trump is the most incompetent president of my lifetime and I'm 72. I've been an Independent voter all my life and have voted for some Republicans along the way. Will never do it again and can't wait for the mid-terms next year!
