His pattern of erratic and destabilizing decisions appears aimed at deflecting attention from ongoing controversies, including the Epstein-related revelations and his documented efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election. These actions - culminating in his role in attempting to subvert a lawful democratic process - represent serious abuses of power and justify impeachment. If he is unable or unwilling to faithfully execute the duties of the office, Congress should also consider the remedies provided under the 25th Amendment, which allows for removal when a president is unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office.
