Enough! It is time to stand up and do the jobs you were elected to do. You were sent to Washington to represent the people of South Dakota, not the interests of Donald Trump and his billionaire kabal. These bogus trade tariffs are not legal. He cannot simply write them on a piece of paper or speak them from his blow hole into being. Congress has to approve tariffs, and only if warranted. They are not. All they have done is humiliate us in an international level, and potentially subject us to higher prices as other nations apply tariffs to trade with us. This is not what we need to improve our economy, and definitely not what Trump promised us when he was seeking votes. You also need to safeguard our government from Elon Musk and his cronies. They have overtaken multiple agencies and locked out career employees. We've already seen the disasters that have resulted from his efforts at the FAA. The first fatal airline crash in nearly twenty years. Multiple other plane crashes (five) just this weekend. The pilot warning system (NOTAM) going down. It doesn't go down. He's overtaken OPM, USAIR, and the Treasury. They are trying to eliminate OSHA. Musk is carrying out vendettas against anyone that has ever stood in his way with a fine or regulations he didn't like. Why is a man that wasn't elected to any office, isn't a citizen, and is in this country illegally making any decisions? Why hasn't he been deported? Oh right, he gives money to the Washington elite and Trump. Our country is literally on fire, and you are sitting there twiddling your thumbs. Shame on you for your complete and utter lack of morals and conscience. You will not be remembered well.
