Protect voter rights, reject SAVE Act documentary requirements

To: Sen. Moran, Sen. Marshall

From: A constituent in Wichita, KS

May 23

This bill places undue burdens on the voter registration process by requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship. Such requirements risk disenfranchising many eligible voters who may not have ready access to the specified documents, including married women whose citizenship documents bear a different name, overseas military personnel, seniors, and those with disabilities. Reject SAVE Act.
