Demand Accountability: Hold Trump and His Administration Responsible
To: Sen. Schmitt, Sen. Hawley
From: A verified voter in Kansas City, MO
June 10
I am writing to you today as a deeply concerned constituent who is alarmed by the unchecked lawlessness and corruption exhibited by President Trump and his administration. I urge you to hold him and his associates accountable for a long list of serious and ongoing violations that have betrayed the trust of the American people.
From his illegal cryptocurrency activities involving a meme coin, to hosting exclusive, million-dollar dinners for those seeking influence over our government, Trump has shamelessly monetized public office for personal gain. He made questionable multi-million dollar deals with foreign powers like Saudi Arabia, accepted money in exchange for pardons, and allowed individuals like Elon Musk—who has a documented history of drug abuse—unvetted access to sensitive federal data under the guise of DOGE.
Furthermore, this administration has withheld congressionally allocated funding from vital federal agencies, undermining public services and threatening the stability of the government itself.
All of this paints a disturbing picture of corruption, self-interest, and exploitation. As our elected representative, do you care about the people who put you in office? Or are you simply rubber-stamping whatever Trump dictates? Your silence and inaction speak volumes.
One day, Donald Trump will no longer be in power. When that day comes, how will your actions—or your failure to act—be remembered? Will you be seen as someone who stood up for truth, accountability, and the rule of law? Or as someone who enabled a corrupt regime at the expense of the country?
Your constituents are watching. We expect leadership, not complicity.
