The Department of Justice has just withheld 47,635 files from public access after initially publishing over 2 million pages. While DOJ spokesperson Natalie Baldassarre stated these files were taken offline for further review and would be restored by the end of the week, the American people deserve transparency now.
The Epstein Files Transparency Act mandated the release of these files by December 19, 2025 and any continued withholding undermines public trust and violates the legislative intent of full disclosure. The public has a right to know the full scope of these investigations into one of the most notorious sex trafficking cases in modern history.
Transparency cannot be a partisan issue. I urge you to use your authority to ensure the Department of Justice complies fully with the Epstein Files Transparency Act without further delay. Every day these files remain hidden erodes public confidence in our institutions. The American people deserve the truth, and survivors of Epstein's crimes deserve justice. Please take immediate action to compel the release of all remaining files.
