I support SB 4625 to designate Russia a state sponsor of terrorism. Today Russia deliberately bombed 3 hospitals in Ukraine. One was the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv, Ukraine, which is the largest children’s hospital in Europe. This is not the first time Vladimir Putin has flattened territories in other countries through bombing, but it has to stop. Russia needs to be declared a terrorist state and the US needs to remove all restrictions on Ukraine striking targets within Russia. Ukraine has proved themselves to be reliable and they have not targeted civilians. Do not be intimidated by Putin’s bluster. He has been weakened through his own actions and it is way past time to stop him from doing any more hard to the world.
