I’m writing in support of Assembly Bill 1581. I am a CALPADS Administrator and I believe it is of vital importance that we begin collecting the tribal affiliation of all of our Native American students so that their existence can be counted at the local, state, and national levels. We cannot allow an entire group of students to remain invisible.
