Vote No on Budget Bill

To: Sen. Paul, Sen. McConnell

From: A verified voter in Bloomfield, KY

May 22

This morning the news noted the House GOP passed their Big Beautiful Bill that will financially cut off most Americans at the knees. Will probably cost us our arms in addition to our legs. Your constituents are going to begin suffering long before the proposed Medicaid cuts take effect in 2029. In my career in education, I worked with poorest of the poor. Living in poverty is far more expensive than living in luxury. Most folks are one tragedy away from job loss &/or homelessness. Why millionaires & billionaires need even more tax breaks is beyond me. Greed & lust for power is all I can come up with. I’ve been around long enough to see the “trickle down” never happens. Husband (64) & I (62) still work full time jobs & have been working and paying into Social Security & Medicare since we were 16 years old. It appears those two benefits for which we have paid for over a lifetime are also slated for cuts. Please don’t vote for a bill that will lead to the deaths of many of your constituents. That is the truth, not hyperbole. People will die due to the ramifications of this budget bill if it goes through. Make & take a stand for Kentuckians & America.
