There are so many things going horribly wrong in this country that I just have to make a list of the ones that are sticking out to me the most. I wish we could restore the US that existed before Trump was elected. Now each day is a new onslaught of horrors and I don’t even recognize my country anymore. Protect the remaining federal employees. Everyone is stressed and covering multiple jobs at the same pay, but benefits are being destroyed to try to dismantle every program that actually serves the American people. Keep the fehb program as-is. Keep the fers supplement. Impeach trump for disobeying the Supreme Court. Stop the intimidation of the judicial branch and law firms. Keep the lgbtq+ suicide hotline available, especially at a time when they are under attack and EVERYONE is depressed due to the actions of the current administration. Fund diversity initiatives. Protect reproductive health care including access to abortions and ivf. Protect trans kids and adults. Allow them to make their own health care decisions. Protect americorps. Restore all the agencies that have been closed or diminished by DOGE. Remove Elon Musk and his cronies from all agencies. Represent ALL of your constituents. Pay attention to the protests. Americans are trying to get your attention.
