As your constituent, I demand that you support the Joint Resolutions of Disapproval blocking more U.S. weapons to Israel: S.J.Res.32, S.J.Res.136, S.J.Res.137, and S.J.Res.138. If you are in the Senate, cosponsor these JRDs and vote YES. If you are in the House, publicly endorse these resolutions, pressure Senate leadership to allow full votes, and support companion action to stop these weapons transfers. These JRDs would block Caterpillar D9 bulldozers and major bomb transfers, including 12,000 1,000-pound bombs, 10,000 500-pound bombs, and 5,000 small-diameter bombs. Congress must not keep approving or enabling more bombs and bulldozers for Israel while Palestinians are being slaughtered, civilian infrastructure is being destroyed, and U.S. law and international law are being treated as optional. These weapons transfers also fuel Israel’s assault on Lebanon. Congress must act to stop U.S. support for the destruction, displacement, and escalation inflicted on the Lebanese people as well. The executive branch has already bypassed normal congressional review to push more munitions out the door. That makes congressional action even more urgent. No more excuses. No more procedural cover. No more weapons used to kill Palestinians, devastate Lebanon, and entrench occupation, siege, and destruction. Support these JRDs. Cosponsor them. Vote YES. Publicly state where you stand.
