Stand Up to Trump's Racism

To: Sen. Ricketts, Rep. Flood, Sen. Fischer

From: A constituent in Lincoln, NE

February 10

I am a constituent from Lincoln, and I am writing to demand a public statement regarding the racist video recently shared by the White House depicting the Obamas as primates. Senator Ricketts has already shown the leadership to call this imagery "totally unacceptable." Why has the rest of our delegation remained silent? This isn't a "meme" or "fake outrage"—it is a dehumanizing attack that violates the basic decency Nebraskans expect from their leaders. Your silence is being noticed. I am asking you to go on the record today: Do you condemn this racist rhetoric, or do you believe it is acceptable for the President to share such imagery? I look forward to your public response.
