Please Vote NO on the SAVE Act

To: Sen. Padilla, Sen. Schiff

From: A constituent in Fort Bragg, CA

February 14

I am writing as your constituent to urge you to vote NO on the SAVE Act. This legislation risks creating new barriers that could disenfranchise eligible voters — including many women who have already fought hard for equal access to the ballot. The right to vote was not freely given. It was won through generations of advocacy, sacrifice, and courage. Our foremothers organized, protested, endured hardship, and even gave their lives so that women could participate fully in our democracy. We should be working to protect and expand access to voting — not make it harder. Voting is a fundamental right. It should not depend on a person’s ability to navigate additional bureaucratic hurdles. Please stand with your constituents and protect our voices by voting NO on the SAVE Act. Thank you for your time and service.
