I'm writing today about the Presidential Records Act and the recent memorandum brought by the Department of Justice that it is unconstitutional. I strongly disagree with the DOJ and urge you speak out about the importance of presidential transparency. Additionally, I ask that you support the lawsuit brought by the American Historical Association and American Oversight against the Department of Justice. The records of every American President belong to the people, and this is yet another unprecedented attempt to consolidate executive power under the Trump administration. Thank you for your time and consideration.
