An Open Letter

To: Sen. Husted, Sen. Moreno

From: A constituent in Cleveland, OH

November 24

Dear Senator, I am writing to request urgent federal oversight and investigation into disturbing patterns of exploitation, misinformation, and systemic abuse involving the Stark Metropolitan Housing Authority (SMHA), affiliated universities, and vulnerable populations in our region. Recent public posts—though fragmented and emotionally charged—point to a troubling convergence of issues: - Allegations of manufactured homelessness: SMHA is accused of creating or sustaining homelessness to attract university funding and institutional attention. This raises serious ethical and legal concerns about the commodification of poverty. - Unethical experimentation: There are claims that universities conduct research on impoverished individuals under conditions likened to historical atrocities. While the language is erratic, the underlying fear of non-consensual experimentation on vulnerable populations demands scrutiny. - COVID-19 manipulation: Posts allege that courts and legal entities misclassified individuals’ COVID-19 status—those who had it were told they didn’t, and vice versa—possibly to justify surveillance, protest targeting, or denial of care. This echoes broader concerns about pandemic-era abuses. - Weaponized legal and psychiatric systems: One reply describes a law firm allegedly directing protests against individuals, fabricating murder cases, and using psychiatric labels to undermine credibility. These tactics, if true, represent a grave misuse of institutional power. Though the language in these posts is disjointed, the themes are consistent with broader patterns of symbolic manipulation, psychiatric coercion, and systemic targeting that many advocates and survivors have documented. These allegations—however surreal—deserve forensic attention, not dismissal. I urge your office to: 1. Investigate SMHA’s funding practices and relationships with research institutions. 2. Review court and legal firm conduct in cases involving psychiatric labeling and protest coordination. 3. Ensure protections for homeless and impoverished individuals against non-consensual experimentation. 4. Establish oversight mechanisms to prevent the weaponization of mental health and legal systems. These issues transcend individual grievances. They reflect a breakdown in ethical boundaries and public trust. I ask you to treat this letter not as a reaction to online chaos, but as a call for clarity, dignity, and accountability.
