Condemn genocide in Gaza, pursue diplomatic solution urgently
To: V.P. Harris

Genocide is an inexcusable crime against humanity that cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. The ongoing violence and loss of innocent lives in Gaza is a grave humanitarian crisis that demands urgent action. While there may be differing perspectives on how to resolve this complex conflict, the human suffering and violations of fundamental rights are undeniable. As a leader on the global stage, it is imperative that you take a principled stand against the genocide in Gaza and work towards an immediate ceasefire and peaceful resolution that upholds the dignity and safety of all people. Continuing to provide military aid that enables the perpetration of mass atrocities would be a moral failure and a stain on our nation's values. I implore you to reevaluate your stance, condemn the genocide unequivocally, and pursue diplomatic avenues to end this cycle of violence and bring justice and security to the region. The progressive vote hinges on your commitment to upholding human rights and international law. Decisive leadership is needed now to prevent further escalation and human tragedy.
