We need universal healthcare in the US. We are the ONLY industrialized nation on earth that does not have some form of universal healthcare. I don’t know how you live with yourselves taking bribes from health insurance parasites to deny Americans’ care. The ACA was never universal healthcare, nor did it make it affordable. Leaving Medicaid expansion up to states also caused thousands and thousands of deaths. Single-payer Medicare For All would be cheaper than our current system and save 68,000 lives per year. The Congressional Budget Office confirmed as much in a well-known study (https://www.cbo.gov/publication/57637). It would actually save the government and individuals money. My question is, why aren’t any of you supporting it or fighting for it? Clearly, you want civilization to deteriorate as you enjoy YOUR free healthcare for life. If that’s not the case then prove me wrong and fight for single-payer Medicare For All! It’s well past time!
