Pursuing I-P Peace

It’s time to get more nuanced on Israel-Palestine peace plans. The two-state solution has been going nowhere for decades. The obstacles are real and we can address them more successfully by broadening the conversation to consider a wide range of options including not only the two-state solution but also federation and confederation plans. Diplomats with a wider range of options are more likely to find ways to work through all the obstacles and sticking points to craft a peace plan that both sides can agree to. I’d be delighted to discuss this further with someone on the team. There are a wide range of plans, one of which I have worked on, and I am part of a network of people developing a range of such plans. I would love to introduce you and your foreign policy team to our work. I believe that if our diplomats have a broad array of ideas and solutions they will be well-positioned to overcome any obstacles and work through the challenges with greater creativity and nuance.
