Support the Bipartisan Plan To Give Medicaid Patients Primary Care Physicians

To: Sen. Banks, Sen. Young

From: A constituent in Indianapolis, IN

December 28

Vote YES on the bipartisan Medicaid Primary Care Improvement Act. The bill provides Medicaid enrollees access to a personal physician instead of expensive emergency room visits. It’s a fact that routine access to preventative care lowers the cost of health care. Under the bill, Medicaid would pay a flat monthly membership fee of $75 for comprehensive primary care services, including walk-in visits. The Medicaid Primary Care Improvement Act passed the House unanimously last year. Make sure it becomes law this year.
