About Trump’s comments on Rob Reiners death
President Trump is the president of the United States, and a nearly 80 year old man.
But this is a repeated pattern of the President of the United States, showing a disregard for others well-being, their safety, their humanity.
He had no condolences at the passing of Vice President Dick Cheney or after the assassination of Melissa Hortman.
He offered no condolences after a police officer in Georgia was shot and killed or
after a gunman fired 180 rounds of CDC headquarters over the summer.
The president never commented on that officers death OR on the shooting.
When he was sitting next to the Saudi crown prince last month and Jamall Khashoggi came up and his murder, he passed it off as being a controversial man and when it came to Mike Pence back in 2021… there’s somebody who did not call his right hand, the vice president of the United States, until several days after the January 6 attack to check on his well-being.
Then just last month Marjorie Taylor Greene, someone made threats against her.
He dismissed them, and said that nobody cares about Marjorie Taylor Greene.
So the president is clearly targeting the Reiners, because of their democratic activism, and their donations to Democratic committees.
It clearly shows a disregard and lack of sensitivity for the family and the murder and the tragedy.
It has been an increasing type of response in terms of lack of empathy coming out of this White House and the president.
And the exact opposite because of Charlie Kirk's assassination. Trump said it was sick and
de-ranged. In fact, he and other Republicans called for people to be FIRED if they spoke negatively about Kirk.
99% of voters only know Rob Reiner has “Meathead” on the TV show, so they are upset by what the president said.
And they're saying “this is disgusting and where did he come up with this?”
