I am writing as a constituent to ask what Massachusetts is doing to resist, oppose, and obstruct the actions that the federal government is taking against LGBTQ+ people (especially trans people), immigrants, and others. There are many people I care about potentially targeted by these actions. I am grateful to live in a place where they have state-level protections, access to appropriate health care including gender-affirming care, and so on. But the federal government is making it unsafe for them to travel and simply to exist. What is Massachusetts doing to protect them? Please do everything in your power to resist the horrors that Trump and his cronies are bringing. Keep Massachusetts a safe, healthy, and welcoming place for all people. Thank you.
