I am writing to urge you to oppose any funding increases for ICE in the upcoming vote. What we are seeing right now is not public safety—it is harm. Families are being torn apart, communities are living in fear, and lives are being lost. No agency that operates with such a lack of accountability should continue to receive expanded funding. Our tax dollars should be used to protect people, not terrorize them. We need investment in humane immigration solutions, due process, and community-based safety—not militarized enforcement that escalates violence and trauma. Please vote against funding ICE. This is a moral issue, and it matters deeply to families like mine who want a future rooted in dignity, safety, and justice for all.
