Additionally, Gabbard’s long-standing ties to an alleged cult-like organization led by Chris Butler raise serious concerns about undue influence and compromised decision-making. The secrecy and control associated with this group make it imperative to scrutinize her ability to serve independently and in the best interests of the American people. Finally, her opposition to key national security legislation, including measures to counter foreign election interference and hold adversaries accountable, signals a disturbing pattern of undermining bipartisan efforts to protect our democracy. A public servant must prioritize the security of the United States, yet her record suggests otherwise. Given these factors, I urge you to unequivocally oppose Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination to any position that requires your confirmation.
