This BIG BUDGET BUSTING BILL is going to add $3.3 trillion to the deficit, will kick 1.4 million people who qualify off their health insurance including Medicaid, close our rural hospitals, close nursing homes, cut vital other services, all to give the ultra rich further tax cuts. If they have greater than $100 million, they can afford it, but people who are poor and sick cannot. This is your moment to show you represent the people of this state and not simply the President's agenda. The popularity of this bill is around 20%. Senator Hawley said he would not pass any legislation that guts Medicaid. This bill is just the first step. This bill will increase energy costs, cut weather forecasting ability in a time of bigger and deadlier storms, and other unnecessary changes. Missouri has seen a record number of tornadoes this year, including the F3 tornado that hit St. Louis. I am respectfully asking you to please represent the people of this state's interests and vote against this terrible bill.
