I am writing to urge you to support H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and demand the full release of all case files related to Jeffrey Epstein's federal child sex trafficking conviction in 2019. Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna have filed a discharge petition to force a vote on this critical legislation, and I ask that you sign this petition and vote in favor of complete transparency.
Jeffrey Epstein's crimes involved the systematic trafficking of minors, yet the full scope of his network and the identities of those who enabled or participated in these crimes remain hidden from public view. Epstein died in his jail cell while awaiting sentencing, leaving countless questions unanswered and fueling widespread distrust in our justice system. The American people deserve to know the complete truth about who was involved in these heinous crimes and whether powerful individuals received preferential treatment.
Despite campaign promises to release the Epstein client list, the Department of Justice has declined to release evidence from this case. This lack of transparency undermines public confidence in equal justice under law and suggests that some individuals remain protected by their wealth or political connections. When justice is applied selectively, it erodes the foundation of our democracy and sends a message that certain people are above the law.
The release of these files is not about partisan politics. It is about accountability, justice for victims, and ensuring that every person involved in child sex trafficking faces appropriate consequences regardless of their status or influence. Survivors of these crimes and the American public have waited long enough for answers.
I urge you to sign the discharge petition for H.R. 4405, vote in favor of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, and publicly advocate for the Department of Justice to release all case files immediately. Transparency is essential to restoring faith in our justice system and ensuring that no one is above the law.
