I strongly oppose construction of a wall on the southern US border. This is a racist, xenophobic, and fascist effort to keep Latin American immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers out of the US after the US government systematically destabilized their countries by supporting coups, authoritarian dictatorships, and corporate power grabs for decades. This is an unconscionable project that Vice President Harris once called “un-American.” I am profoundly disappointed to see the Vice President compromise with far-right fascist in her presidential campaign and endorse the wall. I remain unwavering in my opposition to the border wall. I urge the Vice President oppose this horrific project as well.
