Put an immediate end to the Iran War.

To: Rep. Houchin, Sen. Young, Sen. Banks

From: A constituent in Scottsburg, IN

July 24

The Trump administration has stooped to a new low: the Pentagon's public Iran casualty count was quietly reduced from 18 to 14, reportedly to hide four troops killed after the president's April ceasefire declaration. Military officials told The New York Times this was a deliberate decision to exclude those deaths, while the Pentagon laughably claims it was just "temporary data disruptions." This is not a glitch—it is a cover-up of the human cost of an unconstitutional war that Trump launched without a single congressional vote and has repeatedly stonewalled your attempts to end. This administration has lied about casualty numbers, blown past War Powers deadlines, and resumed full-scale hostilities in July after a failed ceasefire. I demand you use every tool at your disposal—legislation, subpoenas, and whatever parliamentary pressure remains—to end this war immediately and hold this president accountable for treating American service members' deaths as a public-relations problem to be erased.
