I want to see an IMMEDIATE pushback to Marco Rubio's heinous declaration that transgender people can be barred from receiving visas. History has shown us that this sort of restriction, preventing marginalised people from having any mobility, is a precursor to more and more persecution. As a transgender American I am terrified of what this country is trying to do to us. I have not seen even ONE of my representatives speak out for trans people. I cannot in good conscience vote for you again as your constituent if you are not taking measures steps to protect people like me. Issue statements. Speak out for us before it is too late. Please do this for transgender people across this country. Do not wait.
