GOP said we couldn’t afford basics for Americans, used taxpayer $ for Trump ads

Trump told us we can’t afford taxpayer money for healthcare, childcare, or food assistance, but he’s “found” our money for his self-promotion ads. I’ve watched them. I want my money back. If our Congress won’t ensure the taxes I have paid and they have appropriated for healthcare and food assistance get where they’ve been legally allotted, I can see that they are distributed for those purposes. And until Congress puts an end to impermissible self-aggrandizing advertising spending, it’s hard to see us ever affording public assistance for childcare that can make having children an option for Americans who aren’t independently wealthy. When the GOP says we can’t afford basics for Americans, they just mean our taxes are their piggybank.
