Dear Senator/Representative, I am writing as your constituent to express serious concern about the proposed integration of U.S. and Israeli military and intelligence capabilities through Sections 1217 of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and Section 618 of the 2027 National Intelligence Authorization Act (NIAA). These provisions mandate a merger of critical military technology, intelligence sharing, and operational infrastructure between the United States and Israel. Such integration poses significant risks, including: —Undermining U.S. strategic autonomy by binding American military decisions and intelligence operations to those of a foreign government. —Increasing the risk of unintended escalation or conflicts involving U.S. forces due to entangled command and intelligence systems. —Reducing congressional oversight and democratic accountability over sensitive defense and intelligence activities. —Potentially compromising classified information and technology through forced data fusion. Given the gravity of these concerns, I urge you to oppose these merger clauses and call for the removal of Section 1217 from the NDAA and Section 618 from the NIAA. The votes on these provisions are imminent this coming week. Benjamin Netanyahu gave false testimony about Iraq in front of Congress in 2002 (to a standing ovation by some congresspeople) to push a catastrophic war that caused tens of thousands of US casualties, added trillions to the national debt, and immense suffering to civilians—millions displaced, injured, or killed. Netanyahu claimed Hamas' carried out atrocities to babies in order to dehumanize the Palestinian people and get unconditional diplomatic and military support from the US—tens of billions of dollars—to enable his genocide in Gaza. In truth, 2 died (per Israeli social security); neither was intentional. We're now in a disastrous illegal war of aggression on Iran—for Israel according to Marco Rubio—based on Netanyahu's false claims about Iran which contradicted 18 US intelligence agencies. We started it even though analysts predicted it would be far worse than Iraq. Your constituents expect you to prioritize American national security, sovereignty, and transparency by rejecting these dangerous provisions proposed by Netanyahu. We will hold you to account.
