Senator Murray: as Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, you control funding. DHS has already been handed over $190B, including $75B for ICE — and now FY2026 still includes ~$10B more for ICE. At the same time, you are advancing the FY2026 “WAR” budget from roughly ~$895B to $1.01T. That’s a ~$115B jump (~13%). And while you do this, the national debt has grown ~$2.2T since Trump took office. You bring Secretary Hegseth into chambers. You look upset, frustrated. You demand “details.” Hegseth roles his eyes. Obviously, you'll never get details like we will never get to the bottom of Epstein. You fund him anyway. That is not oversight. That is rubber stamping. AND YOU KEEP FUNDING IT. And you fund vanity. The White House is pushing the DoD → “Department of War” rename. CBO says that stunt alone would cost taxpayers $10M to $125M — just to change the name. This White House doesn’t go through Congress because it doesn’t have to. It stonewalls. It delays. It ignores oversight. It runs rogue operations and dares you to stop it. This is a regime tearing up the Constitution — acting like it is never planning to leave. AND YOU KEEP FUNDING IT. Then you fund propaganda. DHS pushed a $220M+ taxpayer-funded ad campaign using a “national emergency” to bypass normal oversight — and firms tied to Kristi Noem got paid. While DHS spends hundreds of millions on vanity PR, Kristi Noem is out doing “ICE ICE BABY” cosplay like this is entertainment. ICE is attracting and empowering the exact kind of people who should never have a badge — thugs who want violence, not justice. You can’t “train” cruelty out of someone. This is not a training problem. It is a recruitment and accountability problem — and you keep funding it. AND YOU KEEP FUNDING IT. Why is this good for the people? Why is it necessary? Is it because this Regime is burning through allies and partners? You threaten Greenland. You escalate Venezuela. You abandon Ukraine after we pushed them to give up nuclear weapons under security assurances. You lose Canada as one of our strongest allies. Then you say "your welcome" to the tax payers by getting them killed by these appropriations and a huge bill. REFUSE TO FUND ICE. STOP FUNDING ROGUE OPERATIONS. STOP FUNDING THE TERRORIZING AND KILLING OF TAXPAYERS.
