Cosponsor H.R.4004

To: Rep. Lynch

From: A verified voter in Boston, MA

July 12, 2025

I’m writing to urge Representative Lynch to support the No Masks for ICE Act that was introduced by Congresswoman Nydia Veazquez, H.R.4004. I am strongly in favor of this bill because I oppose this rise of secret policing intended to create a climate of fear and attempt to crush our patriotic right to dissent. Federal agents have no right to arrest people while wearing masks. They have no right to refuse to show their ID when asked to. They have no right to detain people without charges and without due process. That’s not how law enforcement should operate in a democracy. “The No Masks for ICE Act” will bring basic transparency and accountability to immigration enforcement. Please stand up for justice, due process and liberty, and get this bill passed. Thank you for doing everything in your power to stop ICE’s unlawful trampling of our rights.
