The happy meeting of Dictators in the White House yesterday has shocked me to the core. We are a country of laws. We are a country of due process. Without due process, we are no longer a democracy. You swore an oath to protect and defend our constitution. Now is the time for all good people in a position of power, like yourself, to do something about the lawless disregard of the courts and of Congress by the current occupant of the White House. Our Constitution demands that you hold the Executive Branch accountable for kidnapping people off the streets and sending them without due process to lawless countries with records of human rights abuses. It is YOUR DUTY to stop the Executive Branch now, before they do as they promised "off camera" to "home growns," meaning to citizens of this country whom you represent. Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their country. Stop the lawlessness. Stop handing over the reins of our government when they rightfully belong to Congress. Investigate. Halt nominations. Draw the lines where Congress has the constitutional authority to do so. If the solution requires impeachment, then impeach and remove. Whether we are a democracy or a dictatorship is in your hands. Will you stand with the people of Wisconsin? Will you stand with democracy. We are all watching.
