Thank you for all of the good things you have done for our country. I am also grateful to you for granting clemency and pardons during these last days of your administration. I want to ask you in the strongest terms possible to certify the Equal Rights Amendment. Notify the archivist to publish it as the 28th Amendment to our Constitution. Please do this right away! If someone wants to take it to court on the basis of the ratification date issue, let them. You must do the right thing and act on this! The incoming Trump administration has no regard for the women of this country and we need this protection in the Constitution. This would be a crowning achievement of your presidency. From what I have read, the archivist has no power to reject your call to publish the ERA. Please direct that this be done.
