It’s becoming really hard to continue to try and convince political leaders that the Trump administration is an abomination to America. Hard because we are presented daily with atrocities, lies, and deception all wrapped in corruption and lawlessness. And nothing seems to change that.
We have a president that is obviously closely associated with one of the most blatant and large pedophile rings in history.
We have a president who uses extortion backed by the power of the presidency to line his family’s and friends’ pockets.
He uses the presidency to exact revenge on perceived enemies.
Our communities are being invaded by our own government.
We the people have become afraid to exercise our free speech.
We are afraid to leave our houses because masked men may kidnap us and send us god knows where.
Trump and his sycophants have corrupted agencies and institutions that are supposed to be above presidential influence and coercion.
We have been lied to, misled, and propagandized to the point that this administration’s every pronouncement or action is suspect.
They lie. They subvert. They inflame the world. Then they launch lawsuits, or rockets, to destroy solely in pursuit of revenge. Or treasure. Or apparently world domination.
America is being changed. Damaged. Perverted. And when the people we elect to safeguard the country and its people seem intent on creating an aura of normalcy for it all, it’s soul crushing.
What Americans want has not changed. We want safety. Security. Justice. Freedom. Truth. A government that does the job it was intended to do.
That’s not what we’re being given. And we do not want it.
This too shall pass. But what will we be left with?
