You were not elected to rubber-stamp irresponsible spending or to sell out your constituents to corporate interests. If you vote for this bill, you are complicit in driving our country deeper into debt and further away from real solutions. And let me be very clear: we are paying attention. We are tired of empty promises and bloated bills that serve no one but donors and lobbyists. If you vote in favor of this legislation, know that you are actively working against the people who put you in office. We are watching. We are angry. And we will remember. I urge you to do your job: listen to the people. Kill this bill before it causes real and irreversible harm.
