The DOGE takeover of the federal government represents an existential threat to American democracy. Elon Musk's unilateral purges have gutted key agencies and sparked a catastrophic brain drain, jeopardizing scientific research, public health initiatives, social safety nets, and national security. Unchecked, DOGE's destruction will produce generational harm. Immediate congressional oversight and action are imperative to protect our institutions and limit further damage. Hearings must be convened to investigate DOGE's conduct, with Musk himself compelled to testify under oath about his reckless agenda and conflicts of interest. This lawless coup cannot be allowed to proceed unchallenged. Our republic itself hangs in the balance.
