Elon Musk - A Traitorous Thief.

To: Sen. McCormick, Sen. Fetterman

From: A constituent in Reading, PA

February 4

The American people have not elected Elon Musk, nor do we consent to a private, unelected citizen determining how U.S. tax dollars are spent. His actions are a blatant violation of the Constitution and the rule of law. For a party that claims to uphold “law and order” to stand idly by while a billionaire manipulates American resources is the height of hypocrisy. Musk has built his fortune on the backs of American taxpayers, exploiting government subsidies and lucrative federal contracts. Now, he circumvents the will of the people to further enrich himself at the nation’s expense. His blatant pilfering of the U.S. Treasury is appalling, and the silence from those entrusted with defending our democracy is even more so. The President swears an oath to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Allowing a billionaire to wield unchecked influence over national policy is a dereliction of that duty—an abdication of responsibility and an insult to the American people. Enough is enough. It is time to act. Stand up to Trump, Musk, and their sycophants who brazenly defy the rule of law. Defend the Constitution, defend democracy, and do what is right for the American people. The future of this nation depends on it. If you fail to act, the American people will have no recourse. As Thomas Jefferson once wrote, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” As an Army combat veteran, I swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I still honor that oath today, and I hope that those elected to represent us—you—have the will and the backbone to do the same. Consider this: my unit, the historic and battle-tested 1-141st Field Artillery, carries the motto “Try Us.” It is a defiant war cry, a declaration that when all seems lost and the battle is fiercest, the roar of cannon fire will answer in resistance. The Army’s motto, “This We’ll Defend,” serves as a constant reminder of our duty to protect the freedoms and ideals of this nation—life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I have spoken these words many times, always with a reverence for those who came before me and a deep commitment to the spirit of service. I hope the American people will never need to use them in defiance. Try Us. This We’ll Defend.
