It’s time to stop Netanyahu
To: Pres. Biden

Dear President Biden.
I want to thank you for your efforts to keep the dangers of the Middle East conflict contained, and to keep our country safe thus far. I know your heart is made heavy by the situation. I know you’ve tried to elicit promises and safeguards.
It seems though that our ally does not share our sense of humanity.
Tonight in our prayer group, this quote by the Second Vatican Council arose. I think it’s important to repeat here. It seems like it is time to change the equation with the Israeli war council.
Second Vatican Council: Gaudium et Spes, no. 80
"Any act of war aimed indiscriminately at the destruction of entire cities or of extensive areas along with their population is a crime against God and humanity. It merits unequivocal and unhesitating condemnation."

Please find the political will to stop our support of this destruction. Israel will never recover its reputation in the region as this goes on and on like this. And our own elections require decisive action from the administration.
Repeating:
"Any act of war aimed indiscriminately at the destruction of entire cities or of extensive areas along with their population is a crime against God and humanity. It merits unequivocal and unhesitating condemnation."
