I urge you to take action against Senator Chuck Schumer to oust him from his position as Senate Minority Leader. Among a litany of insufficiencies, the final straw is his caving on the shutdown – currently Democrats' only leverage against MAGA – which shows either secret-planning, abdication of responsibility, or complete ignorance on his part. In allowing this to happen, Schumer has betrayed the Democratic party and its constituents. We, and America in general, had your backs. We understood there would be pain and were walking to bear it because you were finally DOING SOMETHING. And now you've again lost our respect and gained not a damn thing for it. Please call, and act, for his immediate removal from his position as the Democratic leader of the Senate. Americans have had enough of Democrats' tepid opposition to the party currently eroding our nation’s constitutional protections and sliding the United States of America into open fascism and authoritarianism. Chuck Schumer is out of touch with any interests other than his own and has got to go. I vote in every election, though yesterday I changed my party to unaffilated. If you cannot take steps towards this, I will be happy to vote for somebody else who will actually do something in this critical time of need, and I will encourage my community to do the same.
