Here’s what your leader just said—read it twice: “The problem with even a ‘TINY’ tax increase for the RICH, which I and all others would graciously accept in order to help the lower and middle income workers, is that the Radical Left Democrat Lunatics would go around screaming, ‘Read my lips,’ the fabled Quote by George Bush the Elder that is said to have cost him the Election. NO, Ross Perot cost him the Election! In any event, Republicans should probably not do it, but I’m OK if they do!!!” Let’s break that down: • “A ‘TINY’ tax increase for the RICH…” He’s softening. Cracking the door on a policy he once swore off. • “Which I and all others would graciously accept…” He’s pretending to sacrifice—but only in theory. • “The Radical Left would go around screaming…” He’s already pre-blaming Democrats for a policy you might pass. • “Republicans should probably not do it, but I’m OK if they do!!!” There it is. The trap. A yes and a no—so he can pin the fallout on you. And still, many of you are groveling at his feet. Still calling him strong. Still pretending this is strategy, not sabotage. But this isn’t leadership. It’s bait. And you’re biting. He knows the policy won’t work. That’s the point. He needs someone to blame. And when it fails—he’s not going down with it. You are. Republicans have the House. Republicans have the Senate. Republicans have the chance to lead. This is the moment. Either stand up and stop the chaos—or get ready to be flattened by the very man you’ve been protecting. Because when the blame comes—and it will— he won’t just throw you under the bus. He’ll drive it, reverse it, and sell tickets. And you’ll be the fool who held the door for him.
