In less than 7 years the Social Security Reserve Fund will be out of money. That means that everybody on Social Security will take an immediate 20 to 30% pay cut. Many of us will not be able to afford our mortgage/ housing commitments at that time. Hundreds of thousands of seniors will be on the street. Because you, both parties Democrat and Republican, refuse to deal with this issue. You are waiting for this to be in the headlights so you can say "see we have to sell off Social Security to save it". THAT IS A LIE. All you have to do is raise the cap on the FICA tax. But that hurts wealthy people. Your masters, the wealthy, won't let you touch them. It's time for you to actually work for the people that you expect to vote for you instead of the few lobbyists that come into your office every day to stuff your pockets with money and your ears with lies!
