I’m seriously concerned about the current state of affairs of the United States. Trump is unfit to lead office. He is listed in the Epstein files thousands of times. He is using the office of the presidency to enrich himself, his family, and his cronies. He is actively destroying the very fabric of our nation and dividing us like no leader has done before. It is beyond time to remove him from office. Trump is a cancer to this nation. We need to heal and grow together. Vance isn’t great but I truly believe he would be a better president for the remainder of Trump’s term. I’m disturbed with Trump’s latest moves to outlaw mail in voting. His renaming the Gulf of Mexico and - as of today - Lake Ontario, is petty and embarrassing. He’s severely damaged our reputation abroad. He boasts that other nations now respect us, but the truth is that other nations are laughing at us. We need to restore faith in the executive branch and our image abroad. It is time to remove Donald Trump from the Presidency. Our nation is suffering, and not just because of Trump (though he’s not helping). Costs are up, wages are down, while corporations are boasting record profits. Corporations are ruling our society. We need more consumer protections such as Click to cancel, no junk fees (all in pricing)—these are good for the consumer. We need more laws that protect consumers, not just corporations, such as right to repair. We need national healthcare. We are one of the only developed nations that does not provide national healthcare for its citizens. That is shameful. I believe all people deserve the right to privacy. This includes privacy online, privacy when communicating with others (digitally or through mail), and a reasonable expectation of privacy in public. Flock cameras and other big brother surveillance is becoming more and more prevalent. I believe there are efforts going on in our society to limit the amount of privacy we have under the guise of “safety”. I believe these efforts undermine our principles of Liberty in a free nation. Being constantly surveilled is something out of a dystopian science fiction novel, not something that should be in our reality. I’m also concerned about the future of the United States. We need to take America back from the fascists, the oligarchs, and big tech. We need to regulate big tech, particularly AI. We need regulations that protect consumers and private individuals, not ones that favor big tech and corporations. We need a United States of America that fights for its people. For freedom. For Accountability. We haven’t forgotten about the Epstein Files. How have there been no convictions yet? Lastly, our national debt has reached $40T. We have to get spending under control. I’m concerned about the future of our country and my future children’s future. We are living in a society with over 800 billionaires and even a trillionaire. These people are hoarding money while our society is crumbling. The rich need to be taxed and pay their fair share. It might sound like I’m paranoid, but looking around, this is reality. It’s hard to even be excited about the future these days. If there isn't a major overhaul soon, I’m worried about what might happen to us as a nation. I’m begging you, please help turn America around. Thank you.
