So much of Americans food is deeply dependent on so many critical products that come from the Strait of Hormuz on time. One of them is fertilizer.
If farmers don’t get fertilizer then that will affect food production. If food production gets sent sideways then people will go hungry. And when people go hungry they get real squirrelly. And when enough people get squirrelly then it won’t matter how much money there is for police.
With that in mind I want to remind my elected officials that the final straw that finally ignited the French revolution was the lack of food to the French citizens.
Open the strait. Get those products rolling. Pay the Iranian whatever they want. Admit we lost and be done with it.
