Protect Public Lands from Corruption and Exploitation

To: Sen. Lee, Pres. Trump, Rep. Owens, Gov. Cox, Sen. Curtis, Rep. Dunnigan, Sen. Harper

From: A verified voter in West Jordan, UT

October 20

Investigate and stop the corrupt dealings that are stripping our public lands and natural world from the people they belong to. These lands are not a resource to be carved up for private gain. Every acre sold off, every protection quietly rolled back, is a theft from every person who depends on clean water, open wilderness, and healthy ecosystems. The pattern is clear. Special interests pressure officials, protections disappear, and communities are left with degraded land and broken promises. I expect elected officials to stand between those interests and the public trust, not wave them through. Strengthen oversight, close the loopholes that allow backroom deals, and prosecute those who exploit their positions to profit from land that belongs to all of us.
