As your constituent, I am urging you to say no to including any cuts to Medicaid in the reconciliation bill. This critical program provides healthcare services to millions of people and is a lifeline for adults and children with disabilities. Cuts to Medicaid would reduce access to mental healthcare and prevent people from getting treatment for substance use disorders, which is really needed in West Virginia. It would harm seniors in nursing facilities and disabled people who want to live safely and with dignity in their own homes.
Medicaid is a critical program that saves lives and safeguards the health of millions. Throwing people off Medicaid will damage our communities.
Medicaid enables individuals to participate in the economic, social, and civic life of the nation. Please, say no to any cuts and save Medicaid now.
