The treatment of AFSCME District Council 33 and the citizens of Philadelphia is disgraceful. These are vital city services. I don’t blame the laborers, I blame your office for once again letting down our city. If you can find over 1 million dollars to make an entirely unnecessary update to our police uniforms you can find the money to pay these workers. You waste our tax dollars on worthless projects that amount to nothing but a few weeks of positive optics for yourself but long term harm for our city. Get these city workers the pay raises they deserve and back to work!
