Representative Salinas, Under no circumstances should Hakeem Jeffries be elected Speaker of the House. This blue tsunami happened despite the likes of Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, not because of them. Voters delivered a clear message that they want change. Returning the same Democratic leadership to power would squander that opportunity. The old guard must go. Ro Khanna represents a much better direction for the Democratic Party. We need leadership willing to challenge the status quo, not preserve it. A vote for Hakeem Jeffries means you will not have my vote in 2028. I supported change, not a return to business as usual. If you vote for Jeffries, I will actively support efforts to recruit and elect a primary challenger in next election.
