Support SB 367 and Restore Missouri’s Presidential Primary

To: Rep. Riley, Sen. Hough, Gov. Kehoe

From: A verified voter in Springfield, MO

January 31

I urge you to support SB 367 and restore Missouri’s presidential preference primary. Caucuses are exclusionary by design. They require voters to show up at a specific time, stay for hours, and participate publicly. That shuts out seniors, people with disabilities, caregivers, and working Missourians. A state-run primary is simple, private, and accessible. That is what a democracy should look like. Missourians deserve a clear, transparent vote for president administered by professional election officials, not a low-turnout party process that represents only a small, highly motivated minority. SB 367 expands participation, strengthens legitimacy, and gives voters a real voice. Please vote yes.
