Vote no on the big (not) beautiful bill
To: Rep. Kennedy
From: A constituent in Provo, UT
July 2, 2025
I am writing to beg you to please vote no on the big beautiful bill. As a medical provider I genuinely do not know what will happen to patients in the aftermath of this, in their food security or access to health care. Please vote no, and if you can't find the political courage to vote no on the entire bill please hold out on voting yes until you can ensure that utilities, food programs, and medical access including to Medicaid and Medicare remain intact. Please help us minister to the least among us by not removing these important programs and funding, especially in order to give the wealthy more tax cuts. We all know that the reason we have the deficit that we do is because we stopped taxing corporations and the wealthy and we need to return to that even though it is painful and difficult for those wealthy individuals. It is harder for someone to not be able to afford a home, electricity, food, and medical care then it is for a wealthy corporation to have a smaller profit margin. Thank you, and please work for us instead of the ultrawealthy! This plan is going to increase our deficit and the debt that we give our children. Please be a representative of true Utah values.
